To be included on this web site the charity must be registered and based in the United Kingdom. It must also be supporting projects based in the UK.
We may include international charities, but they must be registered in the UK, have offices in the UK and be actively supporting UK based projects.
Animals
This catagory covers all animals whether domesticated or wild. It also includes birds and all types or marine life. In fact, any living creature that is not a human being.
Children
THis catagory is for charities that help or support young people under the age of 18 in the UK.
Senior Citizens
This catagory is for any charity helping or supporting people of retirement age. It may also contain charities that help and support people who are below retirement age but have retired from their work, such as ex-servise personnel.
People
This section is for charities supporting people not included in the above catagories. It also includes those charities that help people of all ages.
Community
This catagory is for charities which help and support communities rather than individual people.
Conservation
This catagory is for charities involved inconservation. It can be the conservation of the countryside, national parks, sites of special scientific interest, historical building or monuments. Or the the conservation of anything which would represent a loss to the people of the United Kingdom should it be allowed to disappear.
